The COVID-19 zoonotic viral pandemic has put a shuddering stop to business as usual in the United States. As our governments -- federal, state and city -- have attempted to deal with the disease, we've been jolted out of our everyday acceptance of, well, everyday. We've had an opportunity to step back and take a good look at, well, us.

Robert Burns's lines sum it up.

"O wad some Pow'r the giftie gie us
To see oursels as ithers see us!
It wad frae mony a blunder free us,
An' foolish notion:"

We've been given that gift, if we take the time to unwrap the box and look inside.

But, given our political and social structures, can we do anything to change what we see inside?

What do you see inside?

What do you see inside?

Hi! Thank you for your interest in me as a person. What I personally see is of no concern whatever. It's what we, collectively, agree we have seen that may, and that's 'may', make a difference.

"I'm Nobody! Who are you?
Are you—Nobody—Too?
Then there's a pair of us!
Don't tell! they'd advertise—you know!

"How dreary—to be—Somebody!
How public—like a Frog—
To tell one's name—the livelong June—
To an admiring Bog!"

Emily Dickinson.

Regards, stay safe and remain well.

Okay.

I guess if what you see inside is of no concern whatsoever then what I see inside is of no concern whatsoever, either. And, if what any of us see inside is of no concern then what any of us collectively see inside is of no concern.

I'd say there's nothing in your thread, at this point, to be concerned about.

Moving on...

Nope

As long as Americans have full wallets nothing will change

Every state will be broke, millions of people will be broke and the Federal government isn't going to be able to, or will refuse to, help any state or any struggling families. That's about it. This country will never be the same again. Maybe that's a good thing.

What our country will be depends on and if and when we get a good vax.

No problem, The Feds have already signed on to help the people in states with 3 Trillion is it?

It's easy when you have monopoly money

Yeah, that solves all our problems(LOL)

That will solve the problem of the people's health vis a vis Covid19, yes. Very good.

Yeah, but that doesn't change all the major issues hindering these United American states
