A new peer reviewed paper published in the Journal of Geophysical Research shows that Antarctic ice shelves have gained ice over the previous 26 years.

The ice shelves are in the sea surrounding the land mass of Antarctica.

The Antarctic ice sheet is the ice that has collected on the land. A NASA report presented satellite data showing long term accumulation of ice in the sheet as well.

the man made global warming hoaxsters will claim ice forms at higher temperature as a result of one of the effects of global warming

No kidding. In the NASA report they suggest that warming has resulted in greater snow fall in Antarctica which increased the thickness of the ice sheet. They don't have any actual data regarding snow fall, that part comes from models. Some of these papers appear to include global warming dicta/boilerplate as a matter of routine. They've got to genuflect to the great AGW theory if they want to get funding.

publishing them?
