Child predators should be locked up forever IMO. They prey on the weakest and most vulnerable. They are extremely dangerous to our kids. Mess with a kid, automatic life sentence.

I think the child predation recidivism is something like 99.99999%, this is across the board, all offenses from porn production, possession, molestation, etc. and their graduation rate(steadily worse offenses) is something like 85%. This is going off memory but they are incapable of truly being reformed.

They themselves admit that they can't control their "urges," so since our children aren't able to carry weapons for defending themselves, it only makes sense to lock up these sick bastards forever, and I wouldn't feel sorry about it at all. When it comes to these types of situations, our society needs to decide who matters more, our children or these sick bastards?

Yes, I agree that there are different levels. I'm talking about real pedophiles who target prepubescent children who are basically defenseless and usually don't have the mental capabilities to be able to tell if someone means them harm.

Well then it should be a very LONG prison sentence. I feel pretty similar about them as I do about murderers. Pedos are the lowest human life forms. Some kids die anyway because they kill themselves.

What they do to kids is just shy of murder. There are numerous cases of people who have grown up predators themselves because of the ones who preyed upon them, and as well there are tons of criminals who were abused either physically, mentally, or sexually as children, kids who grew up to be addicts, sexually dysfunctional, and many other horrible lasting effects. To me child predation is as bad as murder, they do kill something in the child without actually killing the child.

I think we have a responsibility as adults to understand that they may physically have those characteristics but they aren't mentally or emotionally ready for that. We have to be the ones to say, "nope, not right, I can hurt this person". So sure, the physical attraction if they are built like an adult woman is not abnormal, but acting on it would be IMO.

Agreed, but they aren't 25 or so, and most of the time are FAR from being mature in any way. And if you REALLY knew those girls, you would know that they are not anywhere near being the emotional or mental equivalent of an adult. It's not sick for a man to be attracted to a teenage girl or to appreciate physical beauty, but to act upon it is wrong. Men can move on to the next woman who IS of legal age, and if they don't then it's their fault entirely.

Well, I think it's usually pretty rare that this is actually case and that most of these men DO know that the girl is underaged, especially after conversing with her for while. Usually the intelligent and mature girls do not act out in this manner. It's usually the most immature and needy ones who are lacking something in their home life and go out looking for someone or something. I think most intelligent men would at least be suspicious.

However, if she is that convincing then we could cut the guy a break, although I'd be skeptical about his story.
