Make no mistake...I'm not posting this for debate. I don’t want your commentary. ...Unfollow or unfriend me if it makes you feel better.

Just consider this... When you think that your President Trump is a jerk; HE IS...

He’s a New Yorker.. He’s crude and can be downright rude. Some say he's a thin-skinned, arrogant, bombastic ass. No argument, even from most republicans if they're really honest.

He gets his feelings hurt and he’s a hot head. ...He hits back; harder. ...And he probably should Tweet less.

But let me tell you what else he is...And if you disagree with this that's your privilege. But in that case my friend, you'd be DEAD WRONG!!! ..And here's why;
With all the foreigners here constantly attacking OUR President here is a Canadian that actually gets it, wonder if any here on the anti Trump bandwagon ever will get it

I posted the following back in 2016:

Well, I don't dislike Trump. Perhaps unlike most people I understand him. He's a New Yorker.

I spent a significant part of my life growing up and residing in New York City. New Yorker's have a special way of looking at the world.

There are what; ten million people crammed into the space of three islands (Staten Island, Long Island, and Manhattan) and a short peninsula (The Bronx)? While other cities can claim some diversity, New York City finds people of all nationalities, races, creeds, etc. living within a few feet of each other in the same cramped buildings. Every day they encounter and deal with foreign languages, different customs, ideas, attitudes, etc., and they have a certain way of looking at the world that is clearly represented by Trump.

To a New Yorker every person and every situation encountered is considered an opportunity to advance themselves in some way, large or small. Life there is a never ending struggle to climb a little higher in competition with millions of other competitors. They mold their speech and actions to achieve whatever opportunity may ensue. There is no organized prejudice; every enclave like a Chinatown, Little Italy, or Harlem, is surrounded by zones packed to the gills with whoever can afford to live there. Yeah there are gangs, but seldom based on race. Every kid who lives on the block is a member of the party. As long as you are tough enough, you're good to go. You have to be tough and adaptable to deal with so many differences on a day to day basis. It isn't race or religion that sets the tone, it's money because you need a lot of it to live there.

Trump's not a fascist, communist, socialist, or a racist. Nope, he's from NYC which makes him an opportunist. It's an inherent trait of the city. That's not a bad thing BTW, because I still consider myself a New Yorker. That's why when I see excepts of his speeches I just smile to myself because he reminds me of the majority of people I used to know when I lived in NYC. He's just saying what he thinks the crowd would like to hear at that moment in time, because he's trying to sell himself to that crowd at that time...

That was before I committed to vote for him.

   :ROFLMAO: I bet you can find a Canadian who's into banging dead sheep too, if you look hard enough. Good grief, but the desperation of Trump supporters, trying to validate their anal discharge of a president.

In the meantime...

Gotta love "intellectual discourse" that starts out with "ake no mistake...I'm not posting this for debate. I don’t want your commentary. ...Unfollow or unfriend me if it makes you feel better."

How embarrassing.

Of course you can but that never was the issue, the issue is your total and complete dislike for Trump totally ignoring any alternative point of view which I just gave you. Those voting in November seem to voting against Trump and not FOR Biden as there is no viable reason to vote for Biden. The Biden/Harris agenda isn't something good Americans can ever support nor can they vote to put a SF liberal a heartbeat from the Presidency

I think this pretty much highlights his debate talking points. The problem is that they are very narrowly visioned. Take the point about how he closed down China entry early. I am almost sure we'll hear that one talking point over and over during the debates. It's going to be the 15 minute answer to the Covid-19 question.

Ok, so he did one single thing his advisors told him to do (while ignoring pleas to do things like testing and stockpiling equipment). Unfortunately, that was not enough and a little too late -- he could have done much, much more. He downplayed the virus over and over, disregarded scientists and medical professionals left and right, promoted drugs that were at best, useless, at worse harmful.

That's how his devout followers seem to perceive him. They latch on to one tiny positive action and are completely blind to the hundreds of other negative actions.

Well, if anything, he can go start a reality show in Canada.

Here's your problem you want to focus on what Trump says and ignore what the governors of the state did just like you are ignoring the 10th Amendment. Your vote is anti Trump and not pro Biden and that is a problem for me. Obviously the Biden agenda isn't even something you understand or have checked out as this is simply anti Trump. Can you explain to me why the police in this country hired, trained, and funded by the cities are biting the hand that feeds them by endorsing Trump? Better think of the bigger picture and stop diverting from state and local responsibilities

LMAO Listen to you talk about what constitutes a good American, whilst supporting a guy who's lies have lead to the loss of American lives.... The only response you deserve here is the sound of my laughter...too bad this wasn't a Zoom meeting.:LOL: :ROFLMAO:

If you took the time to read the post, you'd see it not only criticizes what he says, but also what he does or doesn't do. There were plenty of things he had the power to do and he did not. I admit, at this point, it would be hard to not vote for anyone but Trump. You guys keep downplaying his power to do anything -- like the President is completely powerless. Compare that to his constant claims of having absolute power and being the world's greatest negotiator, and surely you must at some point, admit there is a disconnect somewhere.

The loss of American lives rests in the state and with the individual not the President. Your lack of civics understanding and the role of the President is typical socialism, Trump is doing his job, providing the dollars necessary to the states for Covid 19 expenses, providing support like sending the U.S.S. Hope to NY, creating funding for the vaccine that will be given free to Americans. You live in a nanny state and are happy with it, I don't and am happy to accept personal responsibility and consequences good or bad

No, I support law and order and will support the police in this country on the front lines against rioters and getting support from the federal gov't that they aren't getting from their liberal mayors. These police officers did nothing wrong and are biting the hand that feeds them in endorsing Trump, that among other reasons is why I will support and vote for Trump. Why can't I get a Biden supporter to give us the reasons for voting for Biden?

You have to realize what Trump has been up against the last 4 years, a party that has been trying to get rid of him, do you have any idea why? He is a threat to the good oh boy network and the status quo taking on their special interest and lip service generating the results the left wants to ignore. Insiders on both sides don't like Trump and that is another reason for my support

So this is a Facebook copypasta.

*yawn*

There absolutely is. I am voting for Biden because I want your MAGA grabbed out of your hands and thrown into a settling pond.

Because you want it and you are my enemy, and I don't want my enemies having things they want.

In the meantime, you're still wrong. 🤷‍♂️ If only you held your worthless, porn star loving president to the same standard you pretend to hold yourself to, in terms of personal responsibility, though. You both should give it a try.

The difference between me and you is that I live in this country and have a voice in the election, you don't

What has Biden ever done to hurt you, your family or the country?

What has he ever done to really affect your life?

What is it about Conservatism that creates this kind of loyalty?

But I've got a voice in here, and I just LOVE how badly that triggers you....     :ROFLMAO: (y)

And PS: That's hardly the only difference, bud...lol...

I think you are going to finally see the massive Trump support come out of the shadows on election day

I thought the shadows were on airplanes full of antifa agents, wearing their gear?
