"A call for American Renewal"; a call to make the Republican Party Survive Trumpism

Your just upset with truth. 10m more voted for Trump in 2020 than in 2016 - his popularity is growing not waning. Get with the realignment - Uniparty or Maga. Populist or elitist/oligarch. There is no room for corrupt RINOs in the new GOP. They know it, that is why they are floundering to find a place to land.

...and 16 million MORE people went to the polls to vote against Trump in 2020 than 2016 after seeing what he really was like as POTUS, so he lost ground (and the election). No question that Trump gets people to the polls, but when he gets more detractors than promoters, well, that is not a winning formula, meaning he isn't a good candidate.

Liberals will never understand.

Obama caused a lot of anger when he gave illegals amnesty after saying multiple times he didn't have the power to do so(and he didn't). Trump came along and had a platform of stopping illegals along with other popular issues such as trade, less regulations and less taxes.

Of course being a liberal you'll never be able to wrap your head around that or understand why so many latched onto this platform.
Uh, Obama didn’t give anyone amnesty nor did trump have a plan to stop illegals. He ducked up trades d exploded the deficit PRE
COVID.

The only ones who can twist their minds to believe Obama didn't give millions of illegals amnesty is liberals.

Well, it is simply objective reality that Obama did not give amnesty to millions of illegals. Reagan is the last president who gave amnesty to illegals lol.

The responses from some in this thread alone are the reasons why whoever goes up against Trump’s White Nationalism Republican Party have an all uphill battle.

Especially when that ideology of Trump means purposeful and unapologetic subscription to conspiracy theory, intention to mislead to the point of fraud, weaponization of government, suspension of Constitutional constraint, and ultimately tyranny not unlike what Hitler pulled off (historically speaking.)

Of course he gave illegals amnesty by shielding them from deportation. Just because Obama tried to extend the meaning of amnesty to include permanent citizenship doesn't change the fact what he did on it's face is amnesty.

*rolling eyes*

More Trump = Hitler from liberals.

It's not hard to understand why they're laughed at so much.

Hint: Tone it down. ALOT. Some might not immdeiately shut you out as a partsan loon.

Every bit of it is factual, sorry if it hurts your feelings on the direction of today’s Republican Party under Trump.

Get off your partisan horse.

He neither shielded anyone from deportation nor gave them amnesty.

Except it is demonstrably false that he gave anyone amnesty. That was Reagan. You are completely and objectively incorrect.

Do you just make up S as you go?

I even used a weenie liberal source for you.

Obama Goes It Alone, Shielding Up To 5 Million Immigrants From Deportation

Sort of useless to try and debate with liberals. They either make things up or use bs sources(if they source at all) or when they get really upset fall back on calling conservatives fascists, terrorists, racists or anything else they can think up.

More productive talking to that rock in my front yard.

Nothing Trump the Terrorist offered could not have been accomplished by any other Republican candidate. The only difference between him and everyone else was his personality.

So we can add deferment to the list of words you don’t know the meaning of lol

from the source you didn’t read.

In a prime-time speech to the country on Thursday, Obama said he would defer the deportation of the parents of children who are either U.S. citizens or legal residents, and that he also would expand that protection to more "DREAMers," or children who entered the country illegally with their parents. Those two groups also will be allowed to work in the United States legally, after passing a background check and paying a fee.

Again, Obama neither shielded from deportation nor granted amnesty. That was Reagan.

Our of interest, where do you believe President Trump held America's interest over his own?

That's a fairly open-ended question.

Tell you what, how's about YOU telling ME where YOU believe he held his interests above those of the USA first?

That way I can get a feel for exactly what you think I must justify in answer to your question.

Comical..

Using Obama's words as a defense when even NPR called it shielding from deportation.

Sorry bud, you're not worth the time of day.

So looking over the list, I saw some familiar names.

Lynn Schmidt, who never found a Republican vote she couldn't criticize in Missouri.
Mark Sanford, do I really need to articulate the problems in relying on that guy for political advice? Keep it in your pants, moron.
Michael Steele, who openly shilled for Democrats.
Jennifer Horn, Lincoln project co-founder....
Paul Mitchell of Michigan, who left the party and is an independent, do you really think he has the GOPs best interests at heart?
John LeBoutillier, who wrote the Obama Identity which is a batshit crazy book of things this guy presented as fact.

And a bunch of strategy advisors who were wrong a lot in the last 4 years.

I really am tired of elites who cant find conservative ideas they want to fight for, but want jobs as consultants that were won with conservative votes.

I even highlighted and enlarged the portion of your own ****ing citation, that you didn’t read, which destroyed your claim lol.

Sorry bud, you're not worth the time of day.
I accept your concession.

meanwhile, as your own source you didn’t read pointed out, Obama neither shielded nor granted amnesty to illegals. That was Reagan.

The Republican party cannot win elections with at least a third of them refusing to vote for anyone Donald Trump does not like. The Trumpster wing is not going anywhere else, and they do not compromise because Donald Trump does not compromise. So guess who has to do all the compromising to stay viable and relevant in the GOP?

A group of Republicans is forming an organization to recruit and support candidates in the most competitive 2022 House and Senate races.

The group plans to raise funding to support or oppose candidates to defeat radical Republicans. Those who support former President Donald Trump in four to five Senate races and about twenty or more races in the H. or Rep. in next year’s midterm elections. They will also recruit candidates to run in GOP primaries or as independents against these radical Rinos.

One hundred and fifty former Republican governors, members of Congress and cabinet officials have signed the principles listed in the link

Who cares? 150 RINO's sign something? Wow, this is big. LOL! There is no support for clowns like this, they might as well be Democrats. This is the leftists dream, to have Democrats running as Republicans so they control everything.

Meanwhile, people are not happy since Biden managed to get in office. He's killed jobs, screwed up a ready made system to get people vaccinated, and absolutely blew up an under control border into a complete disaster. Notice what's happening at school board meetings lately? People are PISSED, and the
Democrats are looking at a big, big problem in the 2022 elections. Sure, Republicans are capable of screwing up a gift wrapped House and Senate, so nothing is for sure.

Democrat priorities right now are; keep people scared of the China Flu, keep elections as insecure as possible so they can work their overnight magic, and push misleading info like this through their media puppets. This garbage would be a joke, if it wasn't so dangerous for our country.

Nothing in your post is true

I am assuming all the radical far right wing conspiracy theory loving lunatics will hold onto the party, too many core Republicans jumped from Republican establishment to Trump’s White Nationalism establishment.
Which 'Trump’s White Nationalism establishment'?
But like many fake news narratives, repetition has helped cement this one into a reasonably plausible storyline for all but the most skeptical consumers of news. In fact, over the weekend, Fox News host Chris Wallace pressed White House Chief of Staff Mick Mulvaney on why Trump has not given a speech “condemning … white supremacist bigotry.” Well, Chris, he has, and more than once. The most powerful version was from the White House following Charlottesville and the heartbreaking death of Heather Heyer. President Trump’s succinct and direct words:
“Racism is evil, and those who cause violence in its name are criminals and thugs, including the KKK, neo-Nazis, white supremacists, and other hate groups that are repugnant to everything we hold dear as Americans.”

Sure doesn't sound like there is such a thing as 'Trump’s White Nationalism establishment'. Is this little more than a boogie man from the left?

This is just the donor class that hates average Americans and wants to continue the corrupt DC business model to loot America in order to line their own pockets.

They still haven't realized this isn't about Trump. In the 2016 GOP primaries, all of the establishment candidates got destroyed. Hell, even the Dems are tired of the elites in pushing Bernie. The problem with the Dems is the party is so corrupt they were able to cheat Bernie out of his victories...twice. And Bernie rolled over and took it.

Yes, conservatives have been consistant defenders of the “corrupt DC business model”.

Der failed fuhrer saw it as an opportunity for personal plunder and supercharged it, stocking agencies with industry lobbyists, and his cabinet with crooks of all stripes. Trump’s goal was to have all of DC paying him tribute, like the small time gangsters he always admired.

It may be about trump the person, but it’s about the corrosive and destructive ideology of trumpism, which rode to its ultimate disgrace on Jan 6th.

That bogey man staged an attempted insurrection on Jan 6th? The one you keep defending, deflecting, and making excuses for?
