The flight and the cost to detain them over a week... would have more than covered to send 7 people back to the U.K.
And looking at the road:
US tried to return Connors family after illegal entry but Canada refused - Insider
I mean it's not entirely impossible late at night an animal crossed that road and caused the car to swerve and maybe mixed up their directions or whatever, I know a lot of people who are geographically challenged, and whatever. Or maybe they did intentionally cross over for whatever reason, still think the person who caught them could have just turned them around and kept an eye.
You guys are so cute... thinking that we can't simply do whatever we want with regards to you guys.
The same goes for The United States.
Is this your prime minister?
Is this your prime minister?
Yes, seriously. They were tourists in Canada.
Does the United States rescue random tourists from Canadian custody just because they entered through the United States?
Who does that?
And you believe that?
Actually that isn't quite correct.
The US government is under absolutely no LEGAL obligation to allow anyone INCLUDING AMERICAN CITIZENS to enter the United States of America. Canadians have a "constitutional right" to re-enter Canada - American's do NOT have a "constitutional right" to re-enter the US (and there is no statutory right for Americans to re-enter the US either). It's only because of "activist judges" that there is any "judge-made law" on that point at all.
Yeah, you jealous? Want some?
Indeed, there ARE people who think that the full title of the position is "President of the United States of America and God-King of the Universe".
Obama did have his clique...
True, but even the ones who thought he WAS "The God-King of the Universe" (both of them) didn't keep trying to convince everyone else that he was.
https://www.washingtonpost.com/nati...onnors-british-family-ice-vacation-detention/ This is a very disturbing incident and is exactly what makes me ashamed to call myself an American. I get it though, this is the type of stuff that gives all of the authoritarian hard ass douche-bags hard on's.
Obama sure ain't no Trump...
Being a low life scumbag is a big deal and advertising it to the world is shameful. They came into the country illegally and were arrested. We arrest illegal immigrants all the time. What's the big deal?
No that is not the answer, changing and sidelining assholes is the answer. You can always immigrate, if you hate us so much.

No thanks. We have 536 dumbasses of our own as it is. One more wont really improve our situation.
Well, I wouldn't want to say "536", but, of the ELECTED dumbasses the US government does have (and that are running for re-election) the historical statistics say that 90% of them will be reelected by the-dumbasses-wise, informed, educated, and impartial voters who are only interested in having the best possible people elected but who are not running for office.
Everyone hates Congress...except their own representatives of course.

They were all allegedly drunk and floated over the border. We do have that agreement with the U.K. All you need is a passport. Didn’t help this family. We don’t know why they were grabbed and detained rather than turned around.
So does that.
But I'm glad you are for big government that takes people who are caught on the border, and instead of sorting it out and sending them back to where they are originally from, flies them to questionable for-profit detention centers that makes millions to detain people and children.
As a figurehead... legally speaking England gets no say in what happens in Commonwealth nations...
Brits freaked out because they aren't used to armed police. Nothing actually happened to them, they're just mentally unstable. This is a non-issue.https://www.washingtonpost.com/nati...onnors-british-family-ice-vacation-detention/ This is a very disturbing incident and is exactly what makes me ashamed to call myself an American. Although interestingly enough the British Parliament still had to approve Canadian constitutional changes until the Canada Act of 1982
