You know, so many bad things happen, every day, that make me shake my head, and worry about the state of the world. But I have become desensitized to a lot, because it's just so common now, to hear bad news. This story, though - broke my heart. This guy survived World War II, only to be beaten to death in the parking lot, while waiting to escort a friend so she wouldn't have to walk alone.
This is more than just a little shocking, this story is headline news even across the pond:
