The episode of Car 54, Where Are You at the link below, shows how very much the average American’s beliefs towards the U.S. working class have shifted.

Now-a-days, the efforts of conservatism are to keep wages low, and the ruling class above the law. Listen carefully to the dialogue of guest star Jules Munshin (Only old folks remember him) as he portrays a representative of the Soviet Union looking for capitalist oppression of the U.S. workers.

The episode is funny, as Joe E. Ross’ character, the not-too-bright Officer Gunther Toody, is at his jabbering best.
