Fauci will be put under oath come early next year. Unless he pulls a Bannon. To much control for a person with short man syndrome.

His lying about the mask killed more than we will ever know.

The COVID-19 pandemic was prolonged and intensified by Dr. Anthony Fauci through a series of dramatic missteps including a focus on contact tracing, failing to target the at-risk elderly and closing schools.

The man almost single handedly responsible for the failed COVID policies of the past two-plus years has announced that he will be retiring soon. For many of us, that day cannot come soon enough.

During the first year of the pandemic, Anthony Fauci MD was a study in confusion. He expressed wildly conflicting opinions about how lethal and contagious the coronavirus was depending on who he was talking to.

Under Fauci’s influence, the US Coronavirus Task Force then proceeded to commit every epidemiological sin in the book. Among his mistakes were:

Contact tracing: At the outset of the US outbreak, Fauci insisted on contact tracing. An enormous amount of valuable time and resources was wasted trying to track down every last person who might have come into contact with every person who might have had COVID — because Fauci insisted on it. He actually made Zoom calls to groups of hundreds of “contact tracers” to give them pep talks.

His biggest mistake from my perspective was his support of the research in a china controlled lab that produced the virus and allowed it to escape. It all starts with that mistake and calls into question the intent behind his response directives.

@VySky You failed so badly in your last post about Dr Fauci that you ran away from answering direct posts and questions.

And here you start another? You have done nothing but demonstrate that you lack nearly (or all) understanding of the covid issue...and yet you persevere futilely in trying to demonize one of the most skilled, experienced, and dedicated medical experts tasked with explaining complex science in terms that many stupid people were incapable of understanding and/or politically biased people determined not to understand.

I'm sorry the pandemic wasnt black and white enough for you to understand...but that's not Fauci's fault.

I don’t answer stupid questions from youngsters.

And Yes it is. And nothing his water carriers say can change that. He hides his political agenda, and at times incompetence, under the umbrella of science. Think of it like how leftist use the race card as their ace in the hole. 👍

Republicans will take "zero responsibility" for their malfeasance.

A big part of the reason your orange turd was flushed down the drain.

And don't you forget it.

RIP to your victims. 🙏

Natural immunity PLUS vaccination is better than either of them alone. This is reason enough to resist the popular idea that anyone who has had the virus doesn't need vaccination: more protection is better than less and "need" can equally be invoked for neither kind of protection. Anyone willing to take the risk personally, can say they don't "need" a vaccine. As with any other social ill, more and less are the only practical measures.

But there's also the problem of self-delusion. Anyone who opposes vaccines (even for small reasons like they don't like needles) is prone to assume they've already had a mild case of Covid, when in fact they had a cold. Don't trust your own memories, get a vaccine. It is shameful that the virus isn't completely beaten in the US. 66% fully vaccinated!

Using the term "herd immunity" was a mistake. It's not an individualist term, and gives vaccine-sceptical people a reason to do nothing and rely on others to do the right thing. Any message to the American people has to be individual: people have to fear for their own elderly relatives at least, if not for themselves, before they will make the minuscule sacrifice of lining up for a vaccine.

"Herd immunity" was first mentioned when the guess was 80% vaccinated. It now appears it's higher, particularly since the emergence of more infectious variations. But opinions have hardened, because of politics, and the knowledge that people can get antivirals if they need them doesn't help at all with reducing transmissions. "Cure is better than prevention" aka "if it ain't broke, don't fix it."

New York Post? That superlative exemplar of excellence in journalism? You might as well have cited Mad magazine. Who needs quality journalism with headlines like these...?

Every time I see the name Fauci in a story headline, I burst our laughing because I already know it will be one of VySky’s failed OPs. The same goes for the word mask. If there’s a worse case of Fauci Derangement Syndrome on the planet, you’d have a hard time finding it.

Experts telling Fauci what he did wrong. Good one.

🤣 @VySky you act like Dr. Fauci is some failed businessman who uses his national pulpit to muse about injecting disinfectants to combat Covid.
Was that suppose to be clever? Um… okie dokey 👍

Nice post.

👋

The OP uses the made up term "vac addict". Ironically, the OP also starts the majority of anti-vac and anti-mask threads on this board. Far more than even a dozen other users combined start COVID related threads, I'd estimate.

We all know the true "addict" here...

In other words, you do run away from challenges and prove Lursa correct.

His biggest mistake was working for the tRump *administration*. They weren't interested in saving anyone.

Here we go again. Another grand post from VySky.

You do know the NY Post is a right-wing propaganda rag, don't you.

And Fauci will not be dragged into a republican committee because of the back lash. Republicans and conservatives have done so much more damage in general to the Covid response, they don't want that re-litigated.

It will be denied, ignored, or deflected from. Trumpism is tenacious that way, like a virus.
