Sadly yes, and believe me when I say I would never have predicted that a year ago. Trump is the antithesis to libertarian values, far more so than Clinton. But that isn't what this thread is about, so I will end that conversation here so as not to derail it.
Well, there's still an awful lot of supposition here.As the FBI investigates one thing is for certain, Carer Page, Manafort, Cohen and a few others are undoubtedly being investigated for treason, among other things. Trump has a bucket of trouble to sweat if even some the allegations are correct.
Actually - I would have also linked CNN, and put it in Mainstream News. It's getting picked-up by quite a few news organizations.Seemed the place for it was here. This 35 page report is certainly big news.
You don't like it...go and whine to the mods.
The only distraction you left out that I see from the GOPrussians is tds--trumpistan deflection syndrome.
Btw, a source I'm using for data on the congressional district method of the EC has trump leading 191 to 185 with only FL, PA, KS, and NC remaining to be scored.
Add in 60 for trump's 30 states and 40 for Clinton's 20 states and you get 251 to 225.
trump will pull ahead of 270 of course with those 4 states.
Keeping in mind Romney would have beaten Obama 273-265 with this method, DEMs got completely outplayed in 2014.
The data is without lean but the source would be rhetorically shot down.
So far, 18 GOP representatives won in Clinton won districts while 11 DEM reps won in trump CDs.
These would be termed 'soft' districts and would be in play in 2018.
In your AZ, AZ-2 is Clinton/GOP rep and AZ-1 is trump/DEM rep .
Trouble is, there's nothing to report. All the news orgs are covering it.Here comes some more tds---trump deflection syndrome.
How about responding to the OP or hit the report button ?
Not a book. That'll be a chapter in the book, "PINO- How Donald Trump Turned the Presidency into a Figurehead Position".
In other words, your just another left winger claiming libertarian values without knowing what you speak of... I, as a libertarian, begrudgingly voted Johnson. the LP needs to find a new candidate at this point, as entertaining as he is.......
Pulling the trigger for clinton was at best a lateral move vs trump.
trump however seems to be more willing to reduce the amount of taxes you and I pay, so obviously you would have to take that into consideration vs the crook you voted for, "libertarian"
Congratulations on being a member of the top 1 percent of the top one percent, the only people likely to see a tax cut in the next four years. Meanwhile, those of us in the upper middle will be getting our clocks cleaned to pay for walls and the wrong type of infrastructure spending...
based on what?
yes, I might be in the one percent as of this year. but looking at what tax cuts are being proposed, it would seem we are all getting it.
reducing corporate tax rates, affects your local pizza shop more than it affects me. you realize that right?
I realize he's proposed a bunch of things, most of which will increase the deficit, while promising the lower middle he will stop their slide into poverty by subsidizing their obsolete jobs. While promising tax cuts. Now, I believe he's going to spend a bunch, but no Republican politician in congress is going to let him cut the favorite programs of the geriatric class which continues to elect them or cut the military and risk pissing off their financial backers. Seeing as how if he cut everything else in the budget he wouldn't close the current gap, let alone his proposed spending. Which leaves one option, raise taxes. You think he'll raise his own? Or up capital gains? No, he will dip into the upper middle.
Thinking Trump is going to benefit anyone other than Trump, is naive.
thinking trump took the job to enrich himself is whats naive, for the success he's had, why sign up for such an involved job?
I'm wait and see at this point, a little concerned/cautious, but some of what he's proposed seems reasonable to me.
btw you tell that poor family in the rust best, that they aren't as worthy of building cars and mexicans about "obsolete jobs"....
Make the trade fair. lets see where it goes. Whats wrong with that?
Wow. If that's you're starting point, getting into a discussion with you is completely pointless. In other words, your just another left winger claiming libertarian values without knowing what you speak of
Rejoice. Your days of denial are soon to be over!
You wanted details... now you're getting them via"Live Stream":2razz:
Thanks for post that. My first thought is that most of the people braying here haven't read and won't read it. There has been a great deal of background information - various reputable sources and over a period of time - that help paint the big picture. In fact, it seems that they are all convinced that this is all about email hacking. That alone tells us they haven't brought themselves up to speed. Also, it tells me that they aren't going to read detailed information you might provide.
First, they will deny it even though they don't really understand what exactly they are denying
Second, if the information is determined to be credible and is reported as such they will attack the source and continue their denial.
Third, they will discount the value and implications of the truth. Part of that will be because they haven't done due diligence and won't.
I'm not going to bother to look it up here but I know that some of the people braying about the story and demanding truth or nothing at all are some of the same people who were all over Clinton's and the DNC emails before the facts were known.
Looks like the Manchurian Muslim has been replaced by the Russian boogieman as the new magnet for the stupid.
His success is laughable, 6 bankruptcies, 1.5 billion in debt, and a fortune that would be larger today if he had invest his inheritence in a fixed interest vehicle. And his self interest is legendary. The man doesn't pay taxes because he lost a billion dollars in one year...
Alot of what he's proposed over the years seems reasonable, and a lot seems bat**** insane. I like 1980s Trump, this guy is a sad caricature of his former self.
I will gladly tell those in the Rust Belt that, they can retrain and move. They are not entitled to a job, a wage, or a way of life. And forcing our markets to accomodate them is not only prolonging encouraging their mediocrity, it's holding back innovations and new industries that could better enrich their lives. Capitalism works better than communism, why am I explaining this to a libertarian?
Labor is a key resource, and right now our labor market is in shambles because no one wants to pick up a book or move. It's time some people get reminded what hardship feels like and how hunger is the best motivator for self improvement.
And making trade fair, wont' do a damn thing for those on the rust belt. Ending NAFTA is a great idea, if you want to end illegal immigration. And that's why I'm all for it. But it's not bring jobs back to industries that could have automated them ten years ago, if not for cheaper foreign labor.
Wow. If that's you're starting point, getting into a discussion with you is completely pointless.eace
Question: Who is going to give this the complete and thorough no stone left unturned investigation that this warrants?
Congress? Who there with any real power to do so demonstrates any willingness to do so no matter where it leads and damn the political consequences?
The Trump Administration? Investigating itself? Hardly.
The FBI? They apparently sat on this for the last six months.
So who is left to get to the bottom of this?
It's already been "investigated" by both media outlets and law enforcement.
It's completely unsubstantiated, in fact, part of it may have been a hoax by 4chan.
Apparently Trump also contracted a hooker through the Russian government to pee on the Obamas. Or some such thing...its hard to tell because the story is still pretty convoluted. They werent sure if the Obamas were grateful for the gift or what the dealio was.
Neither of those that you mentioned have the powers that government does to investigate this far far more thoroughly especially when it involves international dealings.
