All he did was point out the hypocrisy of Biden supporters.Every single day on this board for many months the right were starting threads blaming Biden for gas prices. People like me and others spent hours educating these people on the truth of the matter which is that the POTUS does not control worldwide gas prices - remember when we had to do that for the liberals who blamed GW Bush for high gas prices? I can point to all those threads.
The OP was right to start this thread and call out the hypocrisy of those people. I would have taken it a step further and called out their ignorance too.
All he did was point out the hypocrisy of Biden supporters.
And now we have people starting threads thanking Biden for lowering gas prices. It’s the mirror image of the hypocrisy you’re talking about. No, he pointed out the hypocrisy of Trump supporters - the people who polluted this board morning noon and night with the cries of "Biden is raising our gas prices".
they will not take the senate...
we may even keep the house... I doubt it...
what Biden and the dumbocrats have achieved in two years is remarkable...
the rePUKElican party is dead... but they would have something to say no matter what...
you fail to remember that 81 million voters chose Biden... two years ago... 81,282,916
don't believe all the media hype... after 70 years, I know the American people...

This post is well reasoned and logical and fair.Sorry, not giving credit to ANY POTUS for the price of gas. They get too much when it’s low and take too blame when it’s high.
Trump didn’t deserve it and neither does Biden.
lol, sure. Go with that. The smart people knew this thread was facetious. And they knew why he started it.
lol, sure. Go with that.
You mean continuing to point out the hypocrisy I see on this board? Wasn’t aware I needed your permission, but thanks.Like I said, the smart people knew it. His OP is crystal clear. But you do you, Moon. Nobody I suspect expected you to understand it.
You mean continuing to point out the hypocrisy I see on this board? Wasn’t aware I needed your permission, but thanks.
I understood your post perfectly. You’re giving a pass on the hypocrisy practiced by people you agree with. It’s nothing new.No, but then again, I didn't expect you to understand my post either. You keep doing you.

The next time you educate me on anything will be the first time. You should probably stop including yourself in the “smart people” group you constantly crow about. No, you didn't understand my post. Or the OP's post. But you do you. I'm finished educating you on sarcasm. I often forget that sarcasm requires intelligence to be understood.

I hope you are right. I thought I knew them too. But I have to admit, The American people have been surprising me a little bit over the last 10 years or so. It seems sometimes I am living in a foreign third world country.after 70 years, I know the American people...

We aren't saying it's the president causing the price to go down...we are pointing out blatant hypocrisy on the rightAre they more or less hypocritical than the people who steadfastly claimed it wasn’t Biden’s fault that gas prices weee going up, and now are giving Biden credit when they are falling?
We are not giving Biden credit although the releasing of oil from the reserves is at least something he did that could have effected prices. There was nothing he did that caused them to go up. The oil companies have far more control over gas prices than the President. Are they more or less hypocritical than the people who steadfastly claimed it wasn’t Biden’s fault that gas prices weee going up, and now are giving Biden credit when they are falling?
More bad news for libertarians/conservatives.Thank you President Biden. We knew you could do it. Regular gas is $3.71 in my area. The best thing about this is that Putin is taking in less and less money to pay for his disastrous war on Ukraine. Oil is down to $88 a barrel.
New York (CNN Business)US gasoline prices continue to fall, and they could keep falling, raising the possibility of gas below $3 a gallon in much of the country before the end of the year.
The national average for a gallon of regular gas stood at $3.96 Monday, down only a fraction of a cent from where it stood on Sunday. Still that decline maintained a streak of 62 consecutive days of falling gas prices.
The average national price has fallen $1.06, or 21%, since hitting a record high of $5.02 a gallon on June 14.
$3 gas could be around the corner

not so sure about the senate: https://projects.fivethirtyeight.com/2022-election-forecast/senate/The Republicans are still going to win the house and probably the senate too. What are Americans smoking?
$4.69 in Los Angles here. This is Arco gasIt's already way down by me. I paid $4.20 yesterday. Here in NH we are always a good amount higher than the national average.
exactly! The smart people knew this thread was facetious. And they knew why he started it.
The election has not been held yet so no that is not written in stone. Trump can still screw things up for the GOP. If it is a referendum on Trump all bets are off. It is looking more and more like that every day too,The Republicans are still going to win the house and probably the senate too. What are Americans smoking?
