Oh the irony of it all.

Recently, the Bush administration accused Iran of supplying the Iraqi insurgents with sophisticated Iranian IED's, and now it turns out that explosives used in an attack at a girls school in the Iranian border city of Zahedan Friday night were manufactured in the United States.

TEHRAN, Iran (CNN) -- A bomb went off Friday night at a girls school in the southeastern Iranian border city of Zahedan, according to the semi-official FARS News Agency...

According to FARS, Iranian officials said the explosives used in that attack were manufactured in the United States. CNN could not verify those claims.

Gullible, aren't you...
With no other source than the intensely anti-American Iranian gov't, who has repeatedly been caught in lies, you actually think that this report is credible.
KR, get a life and a clue...

Hey kidrocks, I have some ocean front property in Kansas for sale. Interested?

As long as it feeds his hate, the kid will buy it.

The same could be said of reports from the US government. :doh
Some people might like to check out news from a variety of sources and see which things conflict and make their own conclusions. But hey, if you like to be spoon-fed your information who am I to judge. :2wave:

New bombing, then armed clashes, in Iran

TEHRAN, Iran - A bomb exploded in southeastern Iran late Friday, near the site where an explosion this week killed 11 members of Iran’s Revolutionary Guards, and clashes broke out afterward between Iranian police and insurgents, Iranian news agencies reported.

“The sound of a bomb explosion was heard in one of Zahedan’s streets,” IRNA, Iran’s official news agency, reported. The report gave no further details, including whether there were casualties. The semiofficial Fars news agency said the explosion was at a school and was followed by clashes.

“The insurgents began shooting at people after the explosion. Clashes are continuing between police and the armed insurgents,” the Fars agency said.

Except our news is not state-run, like Iran's is.

:doh

It's funny how it says that in the damn article itself and he even cited that piece yet still 100% believes the information is true.Another thread for KR that made me laugh.

Funny you should mention sources being cauught in lies because that is exactly what happened... only it was Americans caught in lies as a US General just recently discounted the 'sophisticated Iranian IED's story', he said he doubted it.

So you think I'm going to believe the proven liars at the Pentagon or at the White House? No my friend, it seems you people are the gullible ones here.

On the other thread where you claimed that the general was 'discounting' the Iranian involvement, I showed you how you were wrong. You never responded. Instead, you run away to another thread and continue to spout the same false information? You shouldn't have to resort to mischaracterizations to support your position. If you want to continue to claim that the general is disagreeing with Bush, why don't you go back to your thread where you first posted it and show me how I'm wrong? Or is this just easier?

And thanks for your explanation:

US government = liar
Iranian government = honest

Thank god for proud citizens such as yourself.

'American made' is a misleading term when it comes to arms. There are so many arms manufactuered in the US and so many companies with armaments or military technology divisions, most of whom will be exporting something to somewhere. As such a vast amount of the arms in the world are 'American made', same thing with ex-Soviet stuff and more recently items of Chinese manufacture. It is fairly easy for people in most parts of the world to get hold of 'American made' weapons and equipment.

Additionally, hasn't America sold arms to Iran in the past? Perhaps the terrorist group in question is accquiring its weapons from Iranian stockpiles.

Umm... there is none. If you read the first post it appears that the poster is suggesting that because American made munitions were allegedly used in an attack on an Iranian school, that there is an implication of American government or military involvment.

Clearly that is a baseless claim so I mentioned that as one of the worlds principle arms manufacturers and exporters that American made weapons could find their way into anyones hands and cannot be considered evidence of US involvement.
