Link to the 2025 Executive Order on Adjustments of Certain Rates of Pay, with all attached schedules.

As per the just passed C.R., Congressional salaries will remain frozen.

Article III Judges do well, though not as much as the two previous adjustments.

Chief Justice goes from $312,200 to $317,500.
Associate Justices go from $298,500 to $303,600.
Circuit Judges go from $257,900 to $262,300.
District and Trade Judges go from $243,300 to $247,400.

Despite the contrary information on the OPM schedule, the Vice President's salary remains frozen at $235,100 and is not the $289,400 shown on the schedule.

The uniformed services got a very substantial raise this year.

Executive Schedule:
Level I (Cabinet Secretaries): $250,600
Level II: $225,700
Level III: $207,500
Level IV: $195,200 (also is the statutory cap of the General Schedule)
Level V: $183,100

Senior Executive Service ($150,160 to $225,700)

The General Schedule got a 1.7% general adjustment plus a 0.3% locality adjustment. Relatively muted after higher increases the last couple of years.

The General Schedule ranges from a low of $26,175 in the "rest of country" locality area at GS-1 Step 1 to a salary compressed $195,200 in San Francisco at GS-15 Step 10.

The General Schedule continues to lag private sector equivalent wages by about 25%.

A major revamp of Federal compensation is needed by is not likely to happen in the next few years.
