There are actually 6 announced official Republican candidates already, but the poll is just for 10 entries or 5 matchups.

I left out the most meaningless Republican, Steve Laffey. A former mayor.

Potential candidates for 2024 have ca. 6-7 months left to declare their candidacy.

In late October or early November, the first filing deadlines will come up already to appear on the first primary ballots (Iowa, New Hampshire, South Carolina etc.) in January/February ... no serious candidate wants to miss those filing deadlines.

None of these people should be president.
