After Trump edged ahead last night Biden is now back as the bookies fav

The only candidate who has a path to victory as things currently stand is Trump if he holds on to MI and PA. If Biden takes PA then no one reaches 270 and the next President is chosen by the House with 1 vote per State which would probably end in a Trump win.

There’s a remote possibility Biden could take both MI and PA to carry him to and over 270 but it would require a level of Democratic mail-in voting that didn’t materialize anywhere else in the country.

A vote is a vote... all overseas U.S. military vote by absentee ballot.... do their votes get counted, or... "new rulz" ?

"Deps"....his fence won't save him.\

@bluestein

Here’s why some pundits are predicting Georgia to tilt blue later today: Trump has a roughly 104k lead over Biden but the counties with ballots remaining to be tallied include some of biggest - & most populous - D strongholds: Dougherty, DeKalb, Chatham, Bibb, Richmond. #gapol

Do you know the difference between a mail in ballot and an absentee ballot?? Absentee ballots count, mail in ballots can come from anyone not registered

No you only know what the left tells you, explain to us the difference between a mail in ballot and an absentee ballot? A vote is only a legal vote if cast legally, absentee or in person

Yet you are the one displaying you are steeped in cult nonsense. If it was illegal it wouldn't have been allowed to happen, You guys running around willy-nilly making declarations without a shred of evidence has become beyond tedious.

Words, as well as people, have their "15 minutes of fame."

A word about to enter, stage right, and take a bow is 'recount'.

Regards, stay safe 'n well. Remember the Big 3: masks, hand washing and physical distancing.

I don’t get it. Hillary won the popular vote (I reckon she had more actual individual people votes than Trump), but she lost. What gives?

The electoral college system is (eventually) “what gives” us the official POTUS election score. Think of it as two baseball teams playing a (scheduled) 5 game series where the first team to win 3 games is the winner. It does not matter how large the margin of victory in any single game is, or which team scored more total runs during the series of games - only which team got the most (3 out of up to 5) games won.

Your problem seems to be not knowing the difference between a legal absentee ballot and a questionable and probably illegal mail in ballot.

Before the final votes are counted, would someone go pick me up a 70" HDTV from Best Buy before it gets burnt down?

Perhaps you can tell us how one can determine if a ballot arriving by mail can be determined to be either absentee or mail-in?

All the legal votes in those three states haven't been counted yet.

Hmm... legal being in compliance with the state law (as written) or the latest judicial “interpretation” (opinion?) of what that state law should have been changed to say? There is a substantial difference between a mail-in (or absentee) ballot received by 11/3/2020 and one received by 11/6/2020.

It would seem to me that the state would know who they sent approved absentee ballots to and would have those ballots checked off on the voter roles.

What you wish or imagine to be the case makes no difference at all.

Unfortunately, she had more people vote against her than for her, and so could not claim victory.

You might want to double check that path for Biden

What law, state or federal?

State ballots are under state law jurisdiction. Of course, state law may be subject to “interpretation” by courts at both the state and federal level.

Seems to me that Federal Elections are governed under Federal Law and state elections by state law. Federal Elections should be treated the same in all states thus absentee ballots and in person voting being the legal recourse. State mail out of ballots to all registered voters for a federal election seems to be an issue for the SC as to validity. Outside of the military one normally has to request an absentee ballot to vote. I see no reason to allow votes received after November 3 and votes received from people who never requested an absentee ballot

Interesting logic on your part, didn't win your state, now believe that mail in ballots are the same as absentee ballots and like most liberals will throw a temper tantrum again with an election loss. Trump hasn't been a disaster, liberalism has been as the actual verifiable results show. This election is way closer than it should have been with the Democrats nominating a 47 plus year career public servant and a radical leftwing socialist both of whom would do their best to destroy the private sector. you don't have to support the private sector in your real life, feel free to move to a country more to your liking.
This was NOT a political election. This was an election about religious ideology. This was not about choosing the ways and means to reach an American objective but about idolatry in a false God and those that say he is a real God (Trumpers).

I know you don't want to accept this explanation but there is absolutely no reason for anyone to elect a person that has no morals, ethics, principles or humanity unless you are blind with idolatry!

Again, what you imagine to be the case makes no difference. Cite the federal law which you “feel” addresses the federal requirements to obtain mail-in voting permission within all states.

I posted pertinent facts from the PA race and was attacked for it. Maybe PMs are in order.

With regards to the PA race, from Pa

Pennsylvania voters can also vote before Election Day through a process called absentee in-person voting. The period for absentee in-person voting runs from Monday, September 14, 2020 to Tuesday, October 27, 2020, but dates and hours may vary based on where you live.
