Trump is blaming Democrats for his failure to get a WALL. His Party had control of the House and the Senate for 2 years. For two years the WALL was an afterthought.
DISMAL FAILURE!

All those campaign promises about fixing Health Care from GOP candidates. Result. DISMAL FAILURE!

Those GOP Fiscal Conservatives - all that talk about balanced budgets. Now $2 Trillion added to debt. DISMAL FAILURE!

But billionaires got their Tax Cuts. Hooray. Oh wait. The top 1% is getting 83% of the savings. DISMAL FAILURE!

Naturally we are supposed to forget that Trump leads a Rebellion and also that just about everyone in Washington who matters hates Trump....that the only thing that has kept them even slightly in line is their fear of the voters.

The failure of the last Congress is not even slightly Trumps fault.

True, as I pointed out when this kind of argument was made back in 2017:

...Those of us who voted for Trump (well those people I know including myself anyway) knew he was not a politician, but rather a salesman with knowledge of business dealings. Despite all his superlatives during the campaign, we knew he had no "big plans" ready for when he got into office.

We expected, as did he, that the Republicans in Congress had a whole list of ready-for-action legislation regarding everything they've been complaining about for 8 years. That they were locked and loaded, only needing a Republican President to pull the trigger.

Well they got one, and he made his promises of success based on their promises of such legislation. Now they want to blame HIM for poor negotiation skills?

What's to negotiate!? They control both damn Houses of Congress, and a willing President.

So where are all those promised bills where all he had to do was sign? He'd look good and they would look good, and stuff would get done.

Instead, nothing.

True, as I pointed out when this kind of argument was made back in 2017:

You should have mentioned how when we were voting for Trump we had long been assured by Paul Ryan that he had binders full of ideas that had been accumulating over the years ready to go......... that he had the ideas locked down....."DONT WORRY ABOUT IT!"

Then as always he came up empty.....because he is a low talent colossal liar.

Funny every time I point out Obama had a far more dominant control of both house and failed to get some of his "promises" passed you guys, whine "nuh-uh, nuh-uh"

And yet this is the first year when ACA premiums leveled off and individual mandate is gone.

So he's only about a trillion behind Obama's pace at this point of his Presidency.

=Mindless LW slogans. EVERYONE who PAYS taxes got a break, many got raises and bonuses. Half a million new manufacturing jobs. More vacancies than available workers, the list goes on.

You need to change your screen name to Propaganda_Lie. More appropriate.

You guys voted both Trump and Republican. What the hell did you expect would happen? Failure here, is no surprise to me. They can't even keep government open, much less move the country forward.

This:

One of the great things about America’s democracy is we have a vigorous, sometimes bitter political contest and when it’s done, historically, regardless of party, the person who loses the election congratulates the winner, who reaffirms our democracy and we move forward.

That’s how democracy survives because we recognize that there’s something more important than any individual campaign. And that is making sure that the integrity and trust in our institutions sustains itself.

Because democracy, by definition, works by consent, not by force.

But see we cant manage that anymore.

WE USED TO BE BETTER

The "replace" in "repeal-and-replace" was always a lie. The deficit concern was always a lie. The wall was always a lie.

The modern GOP is a lie. That's why their time in power and the clown who leads them have been such dismal failures.

Funny every time I point out Obama had a far more dominant control of both house and failed to get some of his "promises" passed you guys, whine "nuh-uh, nuh-uh"

So what. Obama didn't get some of his promises. That's normal. It's not normal to totally fail in every Legislative attempt. And now blame Democrats for their failure to build his f***ing WALL.

And yet this is the first year when ACA premiums leveled off and individual mandate is gone.

Is this the Republican fix to health care? Is this the culmination of all those campaign promises?

So he's only about a trillion behind Obama's pace at this point of his Presidency.

Before Obama even put his hand on the bible, the deficit was rising to $1.4 Trillion, after the GW Bush worst presidential pass-on since the Great Depression. After fixing the Bush mess, the deficit came down steadily, year-after-year, under Obama.

=Mindless LW slogans. EVERYONE who PAYS taxes got a break, many got raises and bonuses. Half a million new manufacturing jobs. More vacancies than available workers, the list goes on.

And the deficit is approaching $1 Trillion. Borrowing from Peter to pay Paul.

No need for that, based on your misguided comments.

How can you give Trump any credit for his failure to work within his own Party. If he wasn't going to work with Rebublicans, he shouldn't have run on their ticket.

The Republican party was the party Trump run under and was the party that the Rebellion tried and failed to Hijack, though we keep working at it.

Answer: The Republican party is not loyal to Trump, almost everyone at the top hates him, is waiting for an excuse to get rid of him....But they are afraid of the people, the people refuse to let Trump go.....these are not people who are interested in working with Trump....this is not Trumps fault.

EDIT: Just about everyone who works in the Capital Building with an R behind their name expected Trump to lose and have continued to wish that he had lost to Hillary...and you blame Trump!

Yes, I blame Trump!!! He has orchestrated this Government shutdown, over something that almost 60% of Americans oppose. He is a racist bigot, and he just can't get over his hatred.
