“Donald Trump’s campaign is almost broke, and is paying an unusual amount of money to Trump-owned businesses. That’s according to the presumptive Republican presidential nominee’s FEC filing, details of which were released Monday night………

(SEE: https://projects.propublica.org/itemizer/committee/C00580100/2016)

……….. Another eyebrow-raising tidbit: Of the $6.7 million the Trump campaign spent in May, nearly 20% went to Trump-owned businesses or family members. Furthermore, the filing suggests that Trump himself is drawing a salary from the campaign, which would be highly unusual……….

Typical Donald..............

... making money off the backs of donors who think their donations will help win the Trump Campaign for President…………that is after Donald takes his cut…….

Just one of the reasons the big donors are shying away from donating any money to Trump……..these folks are not dopes and don’t like getting coned…………

How very unsurprising.

The guy is a grifter.

Trump is the largest donor to his campaign. So it's his money, right? The donations from small donors barely pays for the gas for his private plane. He only has one million in cash left in his campaign fund.

He still has the option to take public funding like McCain did. But that has caps on spending.

Yes Trump has LOANED $57 million dollars to his campaign...........yet his recent campaign financial report shows $57 million in total donations...........you do the math............20% of $10 million is what?

Yes, but $48 million of that $57 million were donations from Trump. He donated his own money to his own to his own campaign...that's what gave him bragging rights to say he was self funding. He only took in about $10 million from donors. Currently, he only has about one million in cash left in campaign fund. His campaign is broke.

But he probably made a killing selling his campaign merchandise at his rallies and online. I don't know if he put the profits from that back into his campaign or not.

The point I continue to make.........and for the past several months.......... Donald is out for himself...........America First.................That is after Trump takes his cut.........

He is a con man.....a shyster.....and deadbeat.........

Doing so that folks really get to know the true nature of who Donald Trump really is............

There is no doubt that those in D.C. (who ever they may be) have not served the interests of the people they are suppose to represent...........as a matter of fact, a study by Princeton took a look at a few hundred issues to be decided by Congress and what the public opinion was on the issue................How many times the issues to be decided were in sink with public opinion ? ZERO........

Not one issue that the American people favored matched the decisions made in Congress.......

So there are lots of good reasons folks are pissed off............. and on both the Left and Right.......... that the government is not working as it should.......

But electing a man like Donald Trump of questionable character and experience is not the answer.........

It is said one can tell how a candidate will man age the government t if elected by looking at how he managed his campaign to be elected.......

And the Trump camp is rudderless......... without direction or purpose............and broke.........

Is this the man we want managing our government?

I think not

Perhaps this is one of the reasons why Trump is endorsing Putin: He hopes to make good friends with Putin (and thereby Russia) in order to get contracts for his companies. Trump seems to be a greedy guy (in the negative meaning of the word).

but the money he pays himself back with will be OPM

Which is still his money to begin with and a far better cry than from special interests where Hillary is getting her money from.

Now that was the best laugh I have had today.............Thanks for the giggles............and has the ring of truth too...........

you worked hard on making that one up

BINGO!!! While the Dems. cry and wail about the influence of special interest groups, Hillary just keeps raking in the special interest money, while Trump is fairly well insulated against most of them. While he may be his own special interest group, at least he isn't going in with a whole bunch of "markers" hanging over his head.

Special interests....such as the NRA? They endorsed him...before they unendorsed him...before they endorsed him...again. The NRA has bought many, many, right wing politicians which has had a devastating effect in our government...and risk to our public safety and national security that wasn't there before they revised the second amendment and bought off a judge. So don't talk about Hillary's special interests when the right has a yuuuuge stinker of their own.

The NRA revised the second amendment? :lamo Seriously?

The NRA keeps America from becoming one big gun free zone, thank the LORD for the NRA.

The NRA revised the second amendment? :lamo Seriously?

Back in the early 80s the NRA hired a bunch of legal scholars to revise and re-interpret the second amendment from a "collective" right into an "individual" right and spread it as propaganda. But here's the problem...the federal government has to apply laws equally to all the states...which are considered a collective of people, not individuals. Laws that apply and have direct effect on individuals living their daily lives are usually found at the state and local levels. So the point is, the second amendment is not a protection for individual right to buy firearms....it's a protection for the collective right of the people of the states to be well regulated and armed for the defense and security of the free State. Who are the people in the second amendment? They are the States. The second amendment restricts the federal government's power over the States.

Have you ever been to a REAL war zone, Renae? Or do you only see the world through video games and standing in the bleachers?
