A Russian woman and child have been killed in U.S.-led airstrikes in Syria while at least a dozen more are trapped in the war-torn country, a Chechen human rights council member has said. Citing “civil sources,” Syrian state media reported that 11 civilians were killed in U.S.-led coalition airstrikes on an Islamic State-held village in eastern Syria on Thursday. A 35-year-old Chechen woman and a four-year-old Dagestani boy were killed in the attack, the state-run RIA Novosti news agency cited Chechnya’s human rights council member Kheda Saratova as saying Friday. "I urge everyone who is able to influence this situation to help stop the killing of innocent children," Saratova told the outlet.

Definitely sketchy sources -- Syria state-owned media, and Kremlin-owned media outlet RIA Novosti.

Chechen human rights council member Kheda Saratova does do some good work, but is reluctant to criticize Chechen dictator Ramzan Kadyrov. As to the blue sentence above, who does she think leveled dozens of Syrian cities and where was her voice criticizing Putin's war crimes in this regard? This also begs the question, how did Chechen women and children come to be in Syria? By far, the most foreigners to join ISIS came from Russia and Russian republics.

Does "RAQQA" ring any bells as regards flattened cities. Flattened by the USA. Ramadi. Fallujah. Mosul. USA bad. No business in Syria.

This is what happens when one is in the wrong place at the wrong time.

So it goes...

btw, I wonder how many ISIS were killed.

The city taken by ISIS then liberated by Syrian rebels?

Oh, that's right. It wasn't the Syrian Government and the Russians bombing it flat ergo liberation BAD....

Would it have been better with a few barrel bombs?

I wonder why Kheda Saratova is so worried about Chechen women in Syria with ISIS husbands when Kadyrov is murdering/torturing gays right in Grozny.
