Geez, Western prejudice and hypocrisy on display again.
2000 African people killed and the western media barely notices.
But kill 12 people in Paris and everyone freaks out.
Pathetic.
Hello,
Your point is certainly valid. The peoples of much of Africa live under constant threat of Muslim attack and their lives are also important. However, we should not pay less attention to Paris but more attention to the unrelenting international phenomenon which threatens us.
Garion
Heya DA :2wave: Well, they did miss the Egyptian President's remarkable speech on Islam and all Muslims to, then showing up and Meeting the Coptic Christians Pope at their Mass.
Still it isn't just killing people in Paris. It was a coordinated attack and AQAP is taking the credit.
Heya MMC :2wave:
I realize that. But they were both mass murders and I personally think that murdering hundreds of innocent humans in Africa is more newsworthy then murdering a dozen innocent humans in Paris.
They were both terrible incidents. But the one with the far higher death toll is the far worse one imo.
They don't really have anyone going after Boko Haram either.....but you are Right. They did massacre 2000 people. Nigeria isn't capable of stopping them and I don't see any other around them that can.
Agreed.
I think Boko Haram are easily the most dangerous terrorist group on the planet right now...mostly because no one locally can stop them.
Gun trafficking certainly threatens all of us. Islam does not.
"Some people who hid in their homes were burned alive."
Boko Haram has terrorized northern Nigeria regularly since 2009, attacking police, schools, churches and civilians, and bombing government buildings. It has also kidnapped students, including more than 200 schoolgirls who were abducted in April and remain missing.
"The attack on Baga and surrounding towns looks as if it could be Boko Haram's deadliest act," Amnesty International said in a statement.
The Islamist group has said its aim is to impose a stricter form of Sharia law across Nigeria, which is split between a majority Muslim north and a mostly Christian south.

Guns didn't do this.
"Boko Haram militants opened fire on northern Nigerian villages, leaving bodies scattered everywhere and as many as 2,000 people feared dead, officials said.

Kano, Nigeria (CNN)Boko Haram militants opened fire on northern Nigerian villages, leaving bodies scattered everywhere and as many as 2,000 people feared dead, officials said.
"The attack on Baga and surrounding towns looks as if it could be Boko Haram's deadliest act," Amnesty International said in a statement.
Islamist militants sprayed bullets as they stormed in last weekend in trucks and armored vehicles, local authorities said Friday.
When they arrived, they unloaded motorcycles and pursued residents who fled into the bush, firing indiscriminately, said Baba Abba Hassan, a local district head.
Local officials reported death tolls ranging from hundreds to as many as 2,000 people.
Snip...
And we are totally preoccupied by a dozen in Paris??
I aprreciate you saving me the trouble for calling you out by you admitting your wrongness.
First line of the OP article:
I raised the font in case you have as hard of a time seeing and you do thinking.

or this...
But Islamists did do this.
So you and whack job Howard Dean know more about Islamic fundamentalists and their underlying motives than they do? WOW...
Why are you in denial of the motives of who did this? The evidence is below. Deniers, open your eyes...
