1st quarter 2022 deaths in Austria up 2% vs. 2021 and 2020

23.700 deaths between January-March vs. 23.200 in each of 2020 and 2021.

January had more than 10% fewer deaths, February basically the same (up slightly), but March had 15% more than last year.
 
How about some god damned context.

Ok, but what context do you need ?

It is how many people died in Q1 2022 vs. the years before.

A part of the number has to do with Covid. If there is a wave, the overall number of deaths is up too.
