I'm not sure that Trump is the mother's midde name and not simply a second surname, often kept to match the child's name or the mother's original (maiden?) surname and frequently separated with a hyphen from another surname assumed after marriage. It may have been the child's father's name and kept by the mother even after re-marrying. Prior to Trump's candidacy (and the eventual resist, resist, resist nonsense) what would have clued the mother as to why the child's surname of Trump should ever become a problem?
