Since some of us have MP3 players or large amounts of MP3s on our computers, I thought the random game might be a bit fun. Set your player to random and list the first 11 songs that come up (no cheating by omission of the embarrassing ones!).

Here's my list from my iPod:
First Attempt:
John Wesley Harding-"Bastard Son"
Ferron-"Ain't Life a Brook" (I'm gonna see her tonight. Woot!)
Robbie Williams- Eternity (There's an embarrassing one).
Wendy Bucklew- "Right Between"
Coldplay- "Sparks"
Poi Dog Pondering- "A Love Rains Down"
Patty Larkin- "Valentine"
Mary Chapin Carpenter- "Passionate Kisses"
Fiona Apple- "Extraordinary Machine"
Amy Winehouse- "Moody's Mood for Love"
Bruce Springsteen- "Mary's Place"

Second Attempt:
Seal-"Waiting for You (Thick D Remix)"
Poe-Wild
Throwing Muses-"Bea"
Sister Hazel-"Everybody"
John Hammond-"2:19"
Morrissey- "Driving Your Girlfriend Home"
Holly Cole- "I've Just Seen a Face"
Ryan Adams- "You Don't Know Me"
Suzy Bogguss- "It's Always New To Me"
Anders Parker- "Keep Me Hanging On"
Dead Milkmen- "Lucky"

I think that song was done by Simple Minds.
Billy Idol actually covered the song on his 2001 Greatest Hits album.

Aha, I did not know that!
Hopefully he gave it a little more schwing, so to speak.

let's be fair, of course he gave it, as he gives everything, more schwing, as you say, because I think we all can agree Billy Idol is one of the hardest rocking mother****ers to ever walk the face of the earth.

Well, I suppose....
Billy Idol is one of the few people out there who I respect more for themselves than for their music. Kind of like I feel about Iggy Pop and Liberace, lol.

My daughters love Dancing with Myself, though. And when I told them what the song was about, they liked it even more. Go figure. Kids....
