11 have been charged with voter fraud in connection with a Republican drive in which Democrats were signed up as Republicans without their knowing about it.

Sure, this is serious, but I dont see how that is going to affect actual voting, since once in the booth, they can vote for whomever they wish. and since the Democrats were not registered before they were signed up as Republicans, doesnt that pretty much mean that those GOP operatives actually hurt their own candidate by what they did?

Moreover, I don't see how this really would be the Republicans fault since these were outside contractors. (I highly doubt that there would have been a request by the GOP to do these illegal manouevres as it would be of no benefit for the party).
