10 Brands That Will Die in 2012

There is no way microsoft would buy NOK. MSFT has plenty of cash on hand to do if they wanted to, but it lies outside of their business realm. MSFT is a software company while NOK is primarily a mobile phone manufacturer. Also, it is true that NOK is hurt by smartphone makers in the US and the more advanced nations, it is still the dominant player in developing nations. That will hurt its profit margins, and its total revenues, but NOK is not going to be going away because of this. Samsung and LG could possibly buy NOK out but the market cap is still 24 billion so it would be a pretty huge deal. Just my opinion.

Oh my God. Not Soap Opera Digest, it cant be true.

I've still not got over the lost of Captain Crunch last year.

A&W wont die

It does well in Canada, I had no idea it had stores in the US. It will become independant and do ok

Sony overall wont die, it has the resources to survive a long time even if it is losing money

It isn't saying Sony, it is saying Sony runs a lot of it's businesses badly and needs to essentially streamline.
