To preserve the most precious civil rights of 330 million people? Absolutely.

The government continues to promote vaccination, particularly for the elderly and highly vulnerable. Businesses can test employees at reasonable intervals, and airlines can require negative COVID tests. Masking is encouraged, as well as social distancing, despite the marginal impact of both.

But no mandates, no lockdowns, and no passports. They infringe on fundamental human rights that have been acknowledged since Nuremberg. If we cede these rights, we have nothing.

The pro-vax crowd used to have the argument that vaccination was needed to build up herd immunity and prevent the virus from circulating, but we now know that vaccinated individuals readily transmit the virus, that the virus will continue to circulate regardless of vaccination rates, and that the protection offered by the vaccines is short-lived to boot.

It is impossible to attain herd immunity for COVID and other coronaviruses, even with 100% vaccination rates. The vaccines simply aren't efficacious enough to prevent the virus from circulating. Many epidemiologists in late 2020 hoped they would be, but these hopes have since vanished.

Furthermore, even if the vaccines had at one time been efficacious enough to prevent COVID from circulating, they don't last long enough to capitalize on this benefit. The more hopeful epidemiologists, who in 2020 conjectured that the vaccines might confer immunity for years or even decades, have been dragged kicking and screaming into this grim reality as well.

In summary, there never was--or is--going to be herd immunity as a result of vaccination.

On a positive note, the recent study out of Israel shows us that post-infection immunity to COVID is roughly 11 times greater than is conferred by vaccination after six months, hence we may start building towards herd immunity on that basis.

It's all b.s. and I'm going to rant about it. It went down like this, and here we are now, getting our ass beat down.

Our president at the time (the big orange nationalist) announced a war on Covid, the virus. Then most of his loyal fans proceeded to aid the enemy like terrorist traitors and he went along because, hey, votes matter. They scoff at the weapons to fight it, the PPP, vaccines and masks. They help it spread around the country and gave it safe houses to gain strength. Held Rallies to help the enemy reach it's targets. They were willing to die for the cause.

As far as I'm concerned, they're the enemies of this country.

They've driven that message home.

The terrorist antics to prove the left wrong with their own lives is gross, and an embarrassment to this country. They should have just defected. They should leave.

Those is power, siding with these Christian Taliban like fractions, like Dushy in AZ, and DeSatan in Florida and the Devil of TX have blood on their hands and they'll go down in history for it. The majority of this country is watching them with their mouths dropped open.

They have nerve to talk about the freedoms they're not willing to fight for, while they help the enemy check our freedoms off one by one. So sick of it!

Those of us grabbing weapons and fighting against people like them who help spread this virus that kills Americans and gets us banned from the world is exhausting, especially for our healthcare workers.
