Frankly, this is one of the few instances where some conspiracy narratives might make some sense. Trump rarely thinks before or after he opens his mouth, every word that spills out is rooted in an impulse. Typical folks know that a close association to Epstein compels NOT fanning the flames of susception. Yet he couldn't resist using it to please MAGA, and his stunted brain never checked his mouth.

Now he is nearly in a panic, STRIDENTLY denying all sorts of undebatable facts about his buddy communications and associations with the guy, wanting it to all go away before anyone leaks the multiple times he appears in Epstein's records.

Even if Trump is and idiot, Bondi isn't. Shrewdly she sent (perhaps with white house prompting) Trump's former attorney to cut a private deal, no doubt dangling the prospect of a pardon if she keeps her mouth shut about Trump and throws others (especially democrats) under the bus.

The conflict of interest in this interview, inherent to Trump's attorney and Trump's ability to pardon her, is undeniably evident.

So, she either lies and leaves trump out of her confessions, hoping for a pardon BUT also knowing she has no future immunity if she lies, or tell the truth and see her pardon take flight.
 
IOW, Trump is guilty as hell.

She has another 20 years to decide. She has been in jail for like 5 years with no issues, so no reason she can't wait another 15 or so to decide.

Or just serve her sentence normally. Three options, at least.
