Yep. Deaths lag cases. We'll see over the next two weeks if death numbers decline as well. The 7 day moving average has declined over the past two weeks; hopefully it continues to move in that direction. At current rates they're less than 90 days behind New York's death total. Not a great place to be.

Sounds like the sheriff has a reason for his decision whether you like it or not.
My recommendation is stay out of Florida, move to the county and vote against the sheriff or run for sheriff yourself. Another option is to wear a mask if you are approached by law enforcement or anyone not wearing a mask. Look at all the choices you have.
