Just when I thought they were disgusting enough; they double down on their idiocracy! :hm It is a new, sad day in the USA.

If you can't run successfully against the Obama White House, you can still build a robust marketing strategy around an anti-Democratic message.

That, at any rate, appears to be the seasonal moral behind the success of David W. Hedrick, a tea-party-backed also-ran in Washington state's 3rd Congressional District race. Taking his message into Yuletide mode, Hedrick penned "The Liberal Clause," a tea-party-themed Christmas book for children featuring a socialist Barack Obama, "Elf Peloosi" and special appearances by Joseph Stalin and an Afro-centric minister named "Reverend Blight."

Hedrick is traveling to New York today to film a Christmas-special segment for Comedy Central's "Daily Show with Jon Stewart," Hedrick consultant Robert Harmon told The Ticket. "And sales-wise, he's doing great," Harmon added.

Hedrick lost his insurgent GOP primary bid in August but has segued promptly into promoting "The Liberal Clause." (Hedrick has also been busy appearing in court, on assault charges filed by his wife -- who has since sought to rescind a no-contact order between the couple, claiming that he was trying to calm her down at a time when she was "out of control.")

I think his book sounds like fun and the free market way.
Must say, I didn't like this about him if true.

It turns out that some people who do not support his run for office, questioning his qualifications ordered the book for family members thinking that in spite of their personal forebodings on his character, the book might be a useful tool.

Of note also, the book was scheduled for release July 15, 2010. As of this posting, August 5, 2010, none of the people who contacted me have yet to receive their purchase.

Is this the type of underhanded dishonesty we could expect on the off chance that Hedrick wormed his way into office?

You decide.

UPDATE: September 3, 2010. The people who sent me these documents have yet to receive their books. Emails to Hedrick requesting a refund have been ignored apparently as none have yet to receive replies.

Come on “marine,” can’t you repay people out of your 30 pieces of silver?

I see where people bought the book without knowing they were contributing to his campaign. Rather silly complaint, but believable. I know if I bought a book from a candidate, I would take for granted I was helping his campaign.
And I can't find any place anywhere else that people didn't receive their books. Just what you posted which just looks like something in a comments section. I don't think that is proof of guilt.
