Everyone wants law and order.

Even poor people.

I never understood the defund the police movement. Not sure how even the most leftist politicians thought Americans would be onboard with such a ridiculous idea. The left doesn’t care about the negative consequences associated with their agenda. They use word salad to try and unring the bell of authority.

All that matters is how virtuous they sound. Words mean everything. The results of such have no consequence

It’s becoming increasingly clear that after the economy, crime is a hot-button issue driving voter sentiment in the lead-up to the November elections. But despite voter concern, Democrats continue to be divided over the controversial “defund the police” mantra that has grabbed headlines for the past two years, and it’s beginning to hurt their prospects for the fall elections.

The mixed messaging of party leaders versus the call to defund by progressives, especially extreme comments by members of the Squad, has become a costly roadblock to retaining the House as voters lose confidence in Democrats’ ability to address rising violence across the country.

I'm not even sure, if it was about "defunding' the police, but more akin to moving that monies towards more socialist programs.....they found a slice of the pie and tried to steal it, but got caught, and in the end, the people had to suffer.....the left is always, always looking for money to spend, at all times in every second.....the people just happen to be in the way.

The Democrats have a communication problem. They don't know how to effectively use words.

Some woke Dems scream "Defund the cops! Defund the cops!"

But when they or their families need help from vicious predators, they scream "Call the cops! Call the cops!"

And they are not even embarrassed by their pitiful hypocrisy.

I can barely sleep at night thinking about it. I know if I were a republican, I would be outraged.
