What Kind Of Regulations Guns Should Have

But to keep the analogy straight, you would have to pay a fee for every vote you cast. Like the excise tax on every gun and every bullet. So who would control the government after the first sold-to-the-highest-bidder election?

    Teacher Shoots Son 10 Times

An argument made on the basis of cumulative data in that manner doesn't pertain to the individual level anyway. It's simplistic nonsense that relies on rhetoric more than a considered evaluation of the data. Obviously, a motorcycle in the garage could be said to increase your chances of...

    A Salute to our Veterans

In '82 I was a Pvt E-1 living in an off-post trailer park with a wife and kid. It wasn't easy. A couple civilians I worked with (retired Army) kind of took me under their wing and would throw me odd jobs on the weekends occasionally or even just have us over for weekend barbeques. Once, one of...

The Can Am Spyder is another delta layout trike. Before I got my HD trike, I was considering one of those and also a Honda Goldwing trike conversion. One thing that many people don't consider about HD is how ubiquitous are their dealers in the US. Anywhere you go in the country you aren't...

A Honda 450 Scrambler was the first real motorcycle I ever rode. I was probably about 13 and my Uncle had brought his fairly new one to a family cookout. I nagged him to let me ride it and he finally said that if he laid it down on the ground and I could stand it up, then I could. I think he...

A friend of mine had an old Honda Trail 90 that he carried on a rack on the back of his travel trailer. I don't think they make those Trail 90s anymore but they (and the 110cc version) are available. They have quite a following and are one of those bikes that seems to last forever.

That's final drive you are referring to which is the output from the transmission to the rear wheel. Primary drive is the link between the crankshaft and transmission. I would say the vast majority of motorcycles made use a chain or belt final drive. Mostly chain.

We had this conversation about belt/chain vs shaft previously. There are pros and cons to each. Also, HD is not the only manufacturer to use chain or belt drives. That simply isn't true.

I might be wrong, but I think Yamaha's first four cylinder was the XS1100. They were a little late to the superbike wars of the 70's, but when that model came out it was- for a time- the quickest, fastest production bike.

I was told something about going to a trike and it has seemed to prove out. Cages tend to be more aware of trikes than of two wheel motorcycles. Probably because a trike is simply larger and more unusual so its presence breaks through the cell phone haze a little better.

I think Harleys are a bit overpriced. I disagree about their quality. Fit and finish is beautiful. Pinstripes aren't decals; they're paint. You would be hard pressed to look at a modern HD and find anything shoddy or cheap looking. Technologically speaking, the M8 that has been their big...

I don't know if Japanese bikes are particularly cheap. I think "cheap, small", I think Korean and Chinese bikes. Harley management needs to come back to terms with the idea that Harleys are an American bike specifically built for an American market that mostly doesn't view bikes as basic...

I'm a believer in a good synthetic oil in the engine and no other additives. I do use fuel stabilzer in my bikes and all my other smaller engines. I like the Sta-Bil Marine spec stabilizer. It's blue as opposed to the pinkish regular Sta-Bil.

My story of dealing with brownshirt thugs trying to run folks off the road.

Some vehicles like that bus have rear facing cameras, otherwise the driver wouldn't even be aware he is being tailgated.

My story of dealing with brownshirt thugs trying to run folks off the road.

Yes your story was highly unbelievable. Sounds like a juvenile fantasy. Not impressive. There's no contradiction there. Describing the violent, aggressive actions you would take with your SUV were you to observe a pickup tailgating a bus is more of you engaging in fantasy. Give it up...

People who actually drive on the highways are probably not too impressed by your fantasies of violently aggressive driving.

Except in your nonsensical story, you were the one deliberately cutting off other drivers. Better work on it some more.
