    Fair Means Equal

Fair is NOT always synonymous with equal. Repeal both the 16th and 17th amendments and then we might begin to resolve both our government AND individual taxing and spending issues.

Why a tax on share buybacks could actually boost stock prices

There should be a Federal tax applied to ALL stock purchases. Think of the revenue it would produce as a result of day traders alone. Just one share of BRK.A bought today would produce more than $8,000 revenue to the Treasury. What better way to tax the rich and wealth accumulation? IMO, the...

So much for the big lie in Arizona

Yes, all that can be done is recount the existing ballots.

So much for the big lie in Arizona

I'm just stating a fact. The election is over. Recounting the ballots is not going to change the outcome no matter how many times it's done. There's nothing that can be proven.

So much for the big lie in Arizona

All that can be checked in a secret ballot election is that the existing ballots after the election match the results. Nothing more. Ballot tampering is very difficult, if not impossible, to detect. But then, we all know that could not happen in the U.S.A.

The Democrat's what me top pay for

I've always thought that Collectivist/Collectivism might be a better term than Socialist/Socialism.

Of course you can create problems, but the point should be to reduce or eliminate them whenever/wherever/however possible. I don't know why you won't be receiving a single penny, unless you refuse to file for it.

It need not be a problem. The cards would be produced by the States. Moving to another State or voting district would require updating the card which would both add the new location and remove the old, perhaps maintained as history rather than deleted. The numbering would be unique Nationally...

    A Simple 'Fix'.

Every citizen is currently provided with a unique numbered Social Security card at birth. They would instead be provided with a National ID card at birth, and all others would be required to acquire a National ID card replacement over a predetermined period of time, whether they want one or not...

    Fair Means Equal

Could pay ALL employees in stock shares. Automation probably contributes more than employees to many companies success. Should losses be pegged to worker pay as well?

    US Taxation

The members of the House are supposed to represent the people directly, however they and the Senate members primarily represent themselves, their major campaign contributors, and their National party more than anything else. Elections are won/lost over a plurality of issues which result in...

    A Simple 'Fix'.

A National ID, if properly maintained by law if necessary, could provide an annual census of the population, more secure online banking, or any other way or time identification is required to proceed. The cost of one census taking would cover the cost of a National ID card for all citizens, is...

    A Simple 'Fix'.

Ye, I agree, there is a cost to most everything, but in this case I feel it's worth it. What does it cost to perform the census every 10 years?

And I was suggesting a better solution, which would cover not only identification for the purpose of voting in Federal elections, but State and local also. And, IMO, should be provided free at birth, or initially, with perhaps a small charge for a replacement if lost or damaged. It could be put...

I was just responding to your claim that I must have done it wrong. I vote from abroad. But, we have elections for local, State, and Federal government. To vote for President requires on being a U.S. citizen, age 18 or more. For other candidates, residency also becomes an issue. A Smart card...

Obviously not, it looks like the fee has increased to $110 as of Jan 2021. IMO, once you reach the age of life expectancy, your passport should be valid until death.
