    How will Brexit go?***W:46]***

Except the Irish GDP is hugely distorted and just has to do with their lax taxation and many companies going there purely for tax reasons. As Huffington writes https://www.politico.eu/article/ireland-gdp-growth-multinationals-misleading/

    How will Brexit go?***W:46]***

except most unemployment is just from a few countries, Spain with 16%, Greece with 15.8%, Italy with 9% are the biggies and their unemployment is always higher and now especially high because those countries are big tourism countries and that was hit very very very badly by Covid. Poland, Czech...

Asshole cops handcuffing a realtor showing a house to a client. Black people

Except then you broke into the home, it is logical that you have the police called, but in this case they lawfully entered the home with a key and still got handcuffed for no real reason.

Which of these WWII statements are true?

Or in Ethiopia, they were really performing abysmally against barely armed people.

Proposition for changing the US presidential popular-vote

But they already have a way too big of an influence on US politics, just look at how Montana has the same number of senators in the US senate as California or Texas? That is just way too much power for such a small number of people IMO, this favors conservatives to no end.

‘Delete them all’: Girl catches older men taking pictures of girls in bikinis on beach

And what if the images were of minors? What then? Because photographing underaged girls goes from creepy to IMO unacceptable.

Which of these WWII statements are true?

I am pretty sure though that after Italy declared war on Britain, it was the British who initiated armed combat with the Italians. Just days after the declaration British forces went into Libya.

Hard to overstate the ‘diabolical dumbness’ of Sarah Silverman’s rant

This is only one way I see, transgender girls who want to play with other girls. Because transgender boys wanting to play with other boys is a lot less problematic I would think. But most transgendered girls who used to be boys have in a lot of cases been using hormone blockers thus their...

Proposition for changing the US presidential popular-vote

That is already the case, there are loads of red states but the blue ones are the ones with a lot of the votes.

    How will Brexit go?***W:46]***

47.7% of the Scottish voted on the SNP, so it is also not too far away from 50% And the previous independence vote was in 2014, before Brexit and clearly by a large majority the Scottish did not want to leave the EU. And while the SNP might have called it once in a generation, that was before...

Which of these WWII statements are true?

Wasn't it the Italian problems in Libya that made the Germans sent Erwin Rommel and his Africa corps? The British were pounding the Italians hard and thus Hitler sent troops to Africa.

Which of these WWII statements are true?

I agree, this was more prestige and not much more. Britain would have been sitting there twiddling it's thumbs for many many many years if Hitler had not invaded Russia. The troops and the material he burned through there was just the end of the 1000 year empire Hitler had planned.

Which of these WWII statements are true?

The problem for the Africa campaign is that Germany invaded Russia, if 1/5th of the material and men that were sent to Russia had been deployed in Africa, they would have reached Suez with ease. But the Germans were outnumbered by the ridiculously weak Italians.

Which of these WWII statements are true?

For me it was a toss up between Midway and Guadalcanal, but Midway was still the US being on the defense just trying to hold back the Japanese, the battle of Guadalcanal was the first real offensive attack the US undertook and defeated both Japanese soldiers and the navy. Midway was both US...

Which of these WWII statements are true?

Personally I think there was a turning point on 3 fronts, but there was a turning point. the first turning point was in Africa when the British held the Germans at El Alamein the second turning point on in the European theater was the German defeat at Stalingrad the third turning point was...

    How will Brexit go?***W:46]***

And this week the SNP has come within a cats whisker of having the absolute majority in the Scottish election. With their allies they now have a electoral majority for independence.

    How will Brexit go?***W:46]***

And more petty insults, talking about decently discussing and then you post this? I call a fascist a fascist, that is not a slight towards you or other posters here, it is that simple. Now do you want to discuss things or are you more obsessed about insulting and discussing other posters here...

    How will Brexit go?***W:46]***

Yes, because most EU citizens living in the UK work there and make money and taxes for the UK. They are more dependent on EU workers than Spain is dependent on UK expats/retired people.

    How will Brexit go?***W:46]***

Sure, a guy with an American flag is a bitter European. Logical. And the petty insults continue, what a shining example for decently discussing things with other posters

    How will Brexit go?***W:46]***

The EU is treating UK citizens like other non-EU citizens, so that is now seen as not kind? This is the choice the Brexit voters have made, now the expats have to suffer the consequences.
