But syndicalism is the theory and idea that everyone shares equal ownership under production in a union or trade union. It has a lot to do with unions. Under syndicalism the unions exist not under "state control" or in other terms they exist independent from the state so that the unions can put the workers above the government bureaucracy. Under syndicalism everyone in a union is treated equally and everyone in a union have a say. They believe in as much decentralization as possible. Labor unions in syndicalism would likely share a complicated relationship of co-operation and opposition with the state. Syndacalism and socialism pretty much go hand in hand. They both share the idea that the workers should own and control the work place. I call myself a decentralized socialist and syndicalism shares that idea that the economy should be decentralized and almost "democratically planned".
