• This is a political forum that is non-biased/non-partisan and treats every person's position on topics equally. This debate forum is not aligned to any political party. In today's politics, many ideas are split between and even within all the political parties. Often we find ourselves agreeing on one platform but some topics break our mold. We are here to discuss them in a civil political debate. If this is your first visit to our political forums, be sure to check out the RULES. I hate filling out biographies.

I also crave serious discussion and so I will choose to fill this with some relevant information in order to fill the box that, when empty, seems out of place.

I became interested in politics in high school. I flirted with socialism and became initially quite liberal. Over the last ten years as I have grown and witnessed the world my politics have become much more refined. I can no longer bear to call myself a liberal, though I am no conservative. I personally have issue with such generalizations, and the fundamental binary nature of popular political discussion because each of our views are formed through socialization and experience. Since no two people can live through the same exact interpretation of life then it is nearly impossible to claim that one party or one philosophy truly represents more than a very small fraction of society.

I also have a steadfast belief in the republican institution of government and get to some degree annoyed when people call the United States a democracy.
