VP Cheney and the Media
I find it so hilarious the reaction of the media to Cheney's hunting accident. They act as if it some big conspirecy that VP Cheney didn't immediately run into the street yelling "I shot someone". Did anyone think that maybe the 78 yr old and his family might like just a little privacy before... -

God in the government
There is a purpose to acknowledging a higher power in government. It reminds the majority to stay to moral ideals. I believe that it is the thought that something of a higher power is watching that keeps most people on a moral path. It doesn't matter to me what you call this higher power. -

Racism doesn't exist anymore?

States vying to limit picketing at soldier's funerals
Re: "God made IEDs" I think that the families ought to have the right to kick some respect into these "people" But the sad truth is that if this were to happen the family would go to jail and the "people" would sue and win. -

Funeral or Political Shootout
I have never been a fan of Bill Clinton, but at least his speech showed some class. He was one of the few Dems that remembered it was a funeral. -

Ethics Reform
Here is just a thought that I had. I've heard a lot of talk about reforming the ethics rules in Congress. How about they do away with the members of the Ethics Committee and replace them with just plain ordinary citizens from the accused Congresspersons district.
