For self-employed people--What kind of health insurance do you have?

This poll is for self-employed people: What kind of health insurance do you have? Did you choose "Obamacare" or a private company? Has your premium gone up or down? Has your deductible gone up or down? Did you have your policy cancelled? Did you decide to "opt out" and pay as you go, in...

Should there be a maximum voting age limit?

I would not impose a maximum, but I would raise the minimum back up to 21.

If you could reverse a Presidential election

If you could reverse any presidential election in America's history--between the two major party candidates, which one would you choose?

George Zimmerman to auction off gun used in Trayvon Martin death[W:40]

It's his property. It's his right to sell it.

    Abolish property tax?

Property tax is essentially paying "rent" to the state to keep your own property. Furthermore, the money is used for totally unrelated purposes like public education, which should instead be funded by user fees paid by those who use the schools.

Should local governments give private developers financial incentives?

It's bribery. It should NEVER be done.

    Single issue voting

I can't believe the most important issue is not listed. It is REPEAL UNCONSTITUTIONAL PROGRAMS, LESS GOVERNMENT, MINIMAL REGULATION, and LOWER TAXES.

Should people be forced to pay for educating other people's children?[W:188]

Re: Should people be forced to pay for educating other people's children? Within reasonable limits and adequate supervision, it might be a good idea. It might get some punks off the streets. However, I would NEVER force children to work in factories.

Should people be forced to pay for educating other people's children?[W:188]

Did you know that so-called public education is one of the planks of the Communist Manifesto? Should the freedom-loving American people be forced to finance the educations of others who are reckless in their child-bearing? This poll is multiple choice. One answer for the first five, and one...

Should hospitals be forced to give emergency care to the poor?

The key word is "forced." The initiation of force is fundamentally wrong.

Should people on welfare be allowed to vote?[W:504]

In other words, should any destitute tramp be allowed to just vote for a living instead of working for one?

    Rand Paul's running mate

Who would you like for Rand Paul's running mate in the Republican primary? The poll is multiple choice. You may choose more than one.

Should occupancy rates/lock-up quotas for private prisons be illegal?

This is a very dangerous concept. A prison-industrial complex is every bit as dangerous as a military-industrial complex. It could eventually evolve into the vast majority of the population being imprisoned on frivolous and trumped up charges--in other words slaves that could be leased out...

Which of these is a state right?

States don't have rights. Only individual people have rights. There is no such thing as a collective right--that's communism. The state has only one legitimate purpose--to protect people and their rights and property from the wrongdoings of other people.
