Current case: Did a dog or SUV cause this arm injury?

The ME detected no blunt trauma on the arms. Hypothermia was a contribting cause of death, and there were no bushes in the area.

Current case: Did a dog or SUV cause this arm injury?

Dog was owned by the home owners, not the deceased. A few months after the incident, the dog was given away.

Current case: Did a dog or SUV cause this arm injury?

ME states: several abrasions to right forearm, two black eyes, a cut to his nose, a two-inch laceration to the back of his head and multiple skull fractures. Hypothermia was also believed to be a contributing factor in his death. No blunt trauma to chest, back, arms or legs after SUV hit of 27 mph.

Current case: Did a dog or SUV cause this arm injury?

Not political, but perhaps more Law & Order. You're looking at injuries sustained by a deceased person. He was found dead on the front lawn of a house party, where a German Shepard was inside. He was also dropped off at the party by the SUV, so both the dog and SUV were known to be proximate...

Do you condemn Hamas' attack on Israel?

I voted no. There's too much celebrity there, as if Israel and "Hamas" or whoever is more important than ongoing conflicts and death in Africa. What makes Jews and Arabs so special?

Free / Mandatory Government Thrift And Budgeting Classes For The Poor?

You have a point, however you're putting control squarely in the realm of the producer. Capitalism, while profit-based, relies on voluntary purchases from the consumer. Agreed. This is a consumer-focused viewpoint. Most of what we see in the media (advertising, government) is producer-focused...

Free / Mandatory Government Thrift And Budgeting Classes For The Poor?

Agree 1000%. This is scarcity thinking and is advertised by design - it makes one more vulnerable to FanDuel, the lottery, believing in politicians, and a host of other short-term losing ventures. Everyone owns their income, so your statement puts the responsibility for spending that income...

Free / Mandatory Government Thrift And Budgeting Classes For The Poor?

Your figures are correct, but deceptive. You're throwing an apartment of $1450 not at the Alabama median income of $55,000, but a lower $30,000 dual minimum wage household.

    Gender confusion

Disagree, as the popular definition is this: if a person identifies as transgender, their gender identity differs from the traditional expectations of the sex that a doctor assigns someone at birth. This maps social roles to physical sex. If they don't think their sex befits social...

    Gender confusion

Apologies, I just got to your earlier post on terminology: if a person identifies as transgender, their gender identity differs from the traditional expectations of the sex that a doctor assigns someone at birth. Now we come to it. The "traditional expectation" refers to social roles, not...

    Gender confusion

I can understand society's PC use of the term transgender to describe a person who doesn't feel like their sex. Translated to a more archaic (and understandable) form, this means that transgender refers to a pre-op or post-op transsexual with gender dysphoria. It does not refer to people who go...

    Gender confusion

Indeed, young teens are hit the most, since they are the most vulnerable to the need for external validation. Thankfully, physical alteration is rare, and teens content themselves with changing clothes and pronouns. I personally know of two teen girls who did the "they" thing for a while...

    Gender confusion

Agree. I would think the left would celebrate that a guy doesn't have to be 'part woman' in order to be a kidnergarten teacher, but instead the left cements and confirms gender roles.

    Gender confusion

You're using transgender here as if it was a synonym of transsexual. I'd have to a get a ruling on this, as I was of the impression that anyone who bucked their social gender roles were transgender in some fashion. I fully understand that Pat Benatar or Joan Jett never needed hormones or surgery...
