You are in error! The ice core records all show the temperature LEADS the increase in the CO2 level. At best the records show the lag of CO2 past the temperature change is undetectable. None of the records show the CO2 change driving the temperature increase. Antarctic temperature and CO2...

The Climate Cult's New Goal: Degrowth

I think it is important to point out that you seem to think I am denying something! I am talking about the Empirical evidence, other peoples opinions, no matter how educated, do not matter if their opinion disagrees with the observed data!

The question was about concern for unlimited population growth, the reality is that when people improve their lifestyles, they limit their own family size. Average number of people per household in the United States from 1960 to 2023 It's already happening. Shrinking families helped India grow...

Most of The World Could Be 100% Powered With Renewables by 2050

What I am saying is that our planet is warmer than one without an atmosphere, not just because of the presents of greenhouse gases, but the presents of any gases at the current pressures. Sunlight has wavelengths that are absorbed by both nitrogen and oxygen. Also both nitrogen and oxygen have...

IR is not the only radiation involved, and oxygen and nitrogen both have absorption bands in the IR. I would think that those would be saturated during the day, and to high a frequency at night though! The daytime absorption would be the green and yellow bands.

What I see is that it is difficult to contain hydrogen, but we have well developed distribution and handling capabilities for liquid hydrocarbon fuels. Consider that the Mirai gets a 360 mile range from carrying 5.6 kg of hydrogen, about as much hydrogen that is contained in 6 gallons of gasoline.

Sorry the calculation of the greenhouse effect, ~33C is based on Earth's atmosphere being completely transparent, or without any atmosphere at all. All gases have some sort of absorption spectrum, and what is absorbed, Excites the energy state of the atom until it ether collides with another...

Most of The World Could Be 100% Powered With Renewables by 2050

Because of the vast existing demand and distribution infrastructure, I think the man made hydrocarbon fuels will come first. Later I could easily see hydrogen fuel cell electric cars like Toyota is making. Mirai There is a process called steam reformation, where the hydrogen is split off of a...

Well all gasses absorb some frequency, perhaps not in the infrared. Nitrogen for example absorbs in the Green, Yellow and Red spectrum, which do exists in Sunlight. To be fair, Elements tend to have MUCH shorter spontaneous emission times than molecules, due to the different nature of the...

Which is why we should focus on reducing actual pollution like particulate matter. CO2 is not in that category.

You seem to equate questioning how sensitive the climate is to added CO2, as being the same as someone who denies the climate can change. The climate does change, and Human activity can play a role, the open question is how much of a role has Human activity played in the observed warming since...

Please, if you do not understand their misuse of emission scenarios, you should not be playing the alarmist card. I have attempted to explain to you the natural log function of the predicted warming. They combine a future emission scenario, With a high climate sensitivity. So a SSP8.5 implies a...
