I like it here. It's hard going back and forth tho. The color scheme is so dark here in comparison with PF, it makes it seem too dark when I pop back and forth. But when I'm just here, it's fine.

Sorry PF is down, that is frustrating when your usual place goes down! No need to feel guilty - come and go whenever, it's always nice to see your smiling keyboard

You won't get into the Tiki until BLZ grants you access to the Tavern forums. Send the request, he's over in the UK so there's a timezone difference. He's usually on after midnight or so, eastern time.

Also, when you're in the Group Memberships, click to join the Wanderers, that's how you get into the Tavern and the Tiki Bar :beer:

Aww, that's sweet! (the doll comment). I expect you'll have lots of friends, no worries! I felt weird when I first came here, b/c the setup was the same, but very different at the same time. Different forums and subforums, different color scheme, a little darker, etc etc etc

But, I got comfortable. Of course, it was easier then, b/c Lita was dishing out drinks all times of the day in the Tiki bar. She's a ray of sunshine, as you know.

The hammers and bars and stuff comes from your group affiliations. Mine is Liberal, so I get donkeys. Hey, I wonder why you don't have any! I thought 'unaffiliated' got scales or something. Anyway, if you go to your User CP, then choose 'Group Memberships', you can click on Conservative or what have you, and get some icons. Maybe you have to have 50 posts before the icons show up? ps - there are 'hidden' forums called the tavern. Contact BLZ and ask him for access. You can have a beer with Catawba in the Tiki Bar, or a ginger ale with CrusaderRabbit if you prefer. Or anything else at all :2wave:
