Army to Begin Forcing Out Soldiers Who Refuse COVID Vaccine, Including Guardsmen

https://www.history.com/news/1918-flu-pandemic-never-ended " But what’s truly incredible, according to genetic analyses, is that the same novel strain of flu first introduced in 1918 appears to be the direct ancestor of every seasonal and pandemic flu we’ve had over the past century. “You can...

Army to Begin Forcing Out Soldiers Who Refuse COVID Vaccine, Including Guardsmen

There is no real evidence to support this. This is the case for most vaccines, not just ones developed for Covid -19 The Virus is endemic, it is never going away. Like most preceding virus, the global population will develop a certain level of natural immunity through exposure and it will cease...

Army to Begin Forcing Out Soldiers Who Refuse COVID Vaccine, Including Guardsmen

The vaccines do not stop you catching the virus, nor do they stop you passing it on. They simply help reduce the risk of serious illness.

Finally : "UK must be ready for war with Moscow , says armed forces chief" God save the Queen !

To be fair, in all out war neither country could inflict much physical damage other other short of lobbing nukes at each other. Not enough expeditionary forces on either side. The Brits and Russia have usually got fought in other ways. Special forces, intelligence/data gathering, proxy...

State Department discloses number of nukes in US stockpile

State Department discloses number of nukes in US stockpile

Even the relatively small Nuclear arsenal's of the UK and France are enough to end any country on the planet. The reality is most politicians enjoy power and money, ergo they would rather not loose it all.

Attack Submarine USS Connecticut Suffers Underwater Collision in South China Sea

The item would have to be substantial. I'm not sure an undersea drone or shipping container would have enough mass to jolt the submarine enough to injure crewmembers.

US Urges Beijing to Cease Its Military Coercion (Barrage) Against Taiwan - Is This an 'Act of War' Against Taiwan by Beijing?

There are several reasons the Chinese are doing this. Ultimately everything falls behind keeping the CCP and Xi in power, so base your assumptions around that. Sending a message... intelligence gathering... training.... generating hubris... testing Taiwan/USA/other allies response.

Should the US increase military commitments with the Philippines against China’s growing dominance in the South China Sea?

You have already addressed the S400, so I will analyze the Su-35 purchase. A mere 25 were bought and it was widely excepted to be as a political favour to Putin which would help shore up UAC's finances. Russia was initially reluctant to sell their best stuff to China for obvious reasons, but a...

Should the US increase military commitments with the Philippines against China’s growing dominance in the South China Sea?

Russia has bugger all left to sell the Chinese. The Su-35 and S-400 were sold for reasons of financial desperation and political favors, not because they would provide a meaningful boost to the Chinese military.

US Navy’s Shipbuilding Plan Doesn’t Meet Congress’ Needs, Lawmakers Say

While I agree with the majority of you post, there is no way of knowing how a carrier would survive a missile strike. I single ballistic missile may well send a carrier to the bottom.
