I actually agree with this.

Many businesses (I'm sure Trump's as well) have to pay a wage that people can't live on to make the owner a good living (or in the case of conglomerates or big companies a ton of profits from many sources).

It's why the top earners buy yachts and strip malls and the lower and middle class stress to pay their bills.

Entities like the NBA can play their stars a ton of money as long as they keep the lower and middle class employees at lower incomes. And there needs to be a certain amount of collusion to make all of that happen. Not necessarily calling up each other but everyone keeping the maintenance guy's income at 40 to 50k grand a year, etc.

Please explain what the Government has done to small businesses in order to profit big businesses.

Seems the Covid restrictions impacted the restaurant business. Doesn't matter if large, medium or small business.

The government did not put him out of business. His failure to follow the law did him in. Good riddance to him and his stupid attitude. Had he obeyed the rules, taken advantage of PPP hand outs, he could have survived like thousands of others did. His far right beliefs in Freedumbs did him in. Serves him right.

The guy tried to stay in business. The restrictions were more than his establishment could withstand, in his estimation, so he defied them. At least he tried to survive it. At least he went down swinging. The Marxists love it when a small business is crushed under the states boot. In their "utopia", all small business will get trampled asunder to make way for government stores. The huge chains can out last the smaller "mom and pop" businesses, but they'll be coming for them too sooner or later.
